LREC CEO Tim Thompson had a great opportunity this morning to represent LREC and to testify at the Minnesota House Climate and Energy Finance and Policy Committee meeting. Tim presented to the committee the actions taken by LREC during this time of energy transition, from its wind-solar hybrid project, community solar, installation of GoWest solar, and 28 demand response programs, to LREC’s pilot programs involving Aquanta water heater technology and residential battery storage. Tim expressed to the committee LREC’s desire to work with LREC members, legislators, and other co-ops to build our energy future together.
