Over $37,000 Recently Awarded to Area Organizations

Lake Region Electric Cooperative’s Operation Round Up Board of Trustees met on January 14^th, 2019 to award a total of $37,700 to support a variety of organizations within the cooperative’s service area.

“Awarding donations to these organizations distributes funding to all our communities,” says Millie Ness, Operation Round Up Board of Trustees Chair. “The trustees for Operation Round Up make it a priority to keep funding in our service area where it benefits rural members in particular.”

To be a part of this voluntary program, check the box on your billing statement or email billing@lrec.coop. You may also complete the Operation Round Up Participation Agreement available on LREC’s website and send it into the cooperative.
